Mahima Jaini

Mahima wrote proposals with Dakshin Foundation for initiating researcher and community-based fisheries monitoring project in the Lakshadweep Islands. She also initiated a new project to study dynamics of plankton communities in the Andaman Islands as part of a grant Dakshin had received from GOI Department of Biotechnology.

15-year old Arun Viji from Chennai, singlehandedly raised INR 72,000 for our crowdfunding campaign ‘Help Fisher Families‘ by starting an online summer camp on ‘Understanding Oceans’ for children.
