Ujjal Mondal is a resident of North Wandoor, located in the South Andaman district of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and is originally from Rangat Island. Professionally, he is employed as a Junior Administrative Assistant at the Andaman and Nicobar Environmental Team (ANET). He possesses a robust and diverse skill set, most notably his proficiency in four languages: Bengali, Hindi, English, and Tamil.

His interests and leisure pursuits are varied and often align with ANET’s environmental mission. He enjoys bird watching, tree walks, and is interested in learning diving. In his free time, he likes reading and cooking for his community and friends.
