Profile: Renju has a background in Social Work and has gained experience across medical and mental health settings. Her work has involved providing psychosocial support, assisting with research, and engaging with individuals and communities navigating health-related challenges. She is particularly interested in equitable education and mental wellbeing, with a focus on community engagement, access to services and locally relevant support systems. Renju approaches her work with an emphasis on listening, collaboration and respect for community knowledge, and she values participatory methods, believing that sustainable interventions emerge through cultural sensitivity and sustained engagement with local contexts.

Currently, she is engaged in field-based work with the foundation, where she contributes to community engagement and mental health-related activities. Her role includes participating in field visits, interacting with community members, and planning and supporting programme-related tasks as part of the foundation’s field team.
