Ardu Lalita

Before joining Dakshin, Lalita tutored kids while juggling her studies and preparing for competitive exams. Members of the village’s school management committee introduced her to Dakshin Foundation while she was interacting with the schoolchildren. She now serves as a community resource person at Dakshin. Through interactions with fisherfolk, youth groups, SHGs, and children, she ensures community well-being. Lalita identifies issues and communicates with community health workers, Anganwadi workers, and school management committees to discuss and implement planned interventions. She helps address gaps in infrastructure and development, and she learns about the village’s evolving socio-economic features and health standards through adherence to the diet chart. Lalita enjoys singing, dancing, cooking different foods, teaching kids, and being an entrepreneur. She speaks Hindi, Telugu, and Odia.
