Profile: Anuj Awasthi holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked in the engineering sector for two years. Seeking a more impactful career, he pursued an M.A. in Development from Azim Premji University, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical field experience through field immersions and internships. With experience in the education, health, and livelihood sectors, Anuj is passionate about creating community-centered tools and products that promote sustainable development. He is eager to expand his expertise in the sustainability field by developing innovative, community-driven solutions.

Currently, Anuj serves as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Dakshin Foundation. He works closely with the team to develop dashboards that highlight baselines and monitor program impacts. He supports the design, coordination, and implementation of M&E protocols, along with internal and external reporting. His role also involves organisational tracking and communication of M&E metrics across key institutional interventions, enabling effective monitoring and driving sustainable change.

Outside of work, Anuj is passionate about travel and exploring diverse cuisines. He loves cooking, which he considers his preferred way to relax, and is particularly skilled at making chai.
