Profile: Hailing from Kollam, Kerala, Anjali was raised in Muscat, Oman. This helped her develop an appreciation for diverse cultures, geographies, and lifestyles. During her graduation in Delhi, Anjali undertook internships with MASH Project Foundation, Project Baala, and Youth Action Hub India. With Project Baala, Anjali engaged in field research in rural Noida to explore menstrual health and hygiene, helping her understand the importance of community awareness and its role in empowerment.

Her inquisitive nature, fueled by her love of travel, has made her environmentally conscious and motivated to work towards sustainability and conservation. Understanding that community empowerment and the effective management of natural resources go hand in hand, she aims to engage with communities to bring about a positive outcome for both humankind and nature. When she isn’t working for community empowerment, Anjali enjoys exploring new places and immersing herself in books.
